Glass*Mixed Media Pendants & Embellishments
Wisconsin artist Sandi Obertin

Your class kit will include enough supplies to create six dimensional glass works of art.
These beautiful little works of art are only 1 inch square! So you should be able to complete all six pieces during the class but if you don't, you may take the extra supplies home and complete your pieces there.
This class is a lot of fun and best of all, it's easy to create professional quality pendants and embellishments! Pendant findings and black cord will be available for your pendants.

As you can see from the samples there is a wide variety of design choices both figurative and abstract. The choices are yours. If you choose to create embellishment pieces, there are a number of great ways you can use or enhance them such as: wire wrapping the embellishment to add decorative detail or using the piece as a cabochon and beading around it or gluing the embellishment to a polymer clay or a metal clay piece to enhance the clay work.

Students please bring a pair of scissors and a pair of tweezers.
All art supplies will be provided.

All skill levels welcome.

Crystal Right-Angle-Weave Bracelet
Robin Delyea from Fat Cat Beads

If you’ve been wanting to learn right angle weave (sometimes written as RAW) or you need a refresher, this is the perfect class for you. Using crystals makes it about as easy to learn as it can get. You will learn two rows of RAW with 5 colors of crystals. Although this is a great way to learn RAW, it is recommended that students have some other stitching experience before learning this stitch.

Supplies needed: 4mm Swarovski crystals: at least 30 for a smaller wrist, up to 40 for a larger wrist in each of 5 different colors. The black to white example shown uses a gradual progression of colors from dark to light. This can be very striking. 6 lb fireline. sz 12 needle and a toggle clasp or clasp of your choice.
